All about our school

Bellevue School is a contributing primary school catering for five to ten year old children. We have close ties to Otumoetai Intermediate and Otumoetai College, which are both situated within 500 metres of our school, and many of our students go on to attend these schools after their time at Bellevue.

Bellevue School is set on a beautiful terraced site and we are fortunate to have a range of facilities available to our students, including a large playing field, astro turf, netball courts, two large adventure playgrounds, two generous sand pits, a well-stocked library and a swimming pool.

Bellevue School has a strong vision that is articulated in the school’s motto, ‘Learners for Life’ and in its mission statement, ’Together we make a difference, treasure the past, embrace the present, challenge the future’. We strive to build a community that works together and supports each other and throughout everything we do, we embed our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Resourcefulness.

The staff at Bellevue School are highly skilled professionals who are supported by an effective Board of Trustees and Parent Teacher Association. Together, the staff, the Board of Trustees and the Parent Teacher Association are committed to providing excellent facilities and resources and a safe and nurturing environment, in which students are able to reach their potential and achieve their personal best in all academic, sporting and cultural endeavours.

With its idyllic setting and excellence in education, Bellevue School certainly has something special to offer its families.
