Swimming

Our pool is used throughout the school day during November-December and February-March.

Swimming is an integral part of the school curriculum.

Swimming togs are required for swimming – not shorts and/or T shirt.

Togs and towels should be named, and a plastic bag provided to put wet gear in.

School Sports Teams

At Bellevue students are encouraged to be active and involved in sports. As a result the school is well represented in a wide range of sports both in numbers and results.

Whole school activities include swimming and Athlon Days, cross country, various winter codes, summer tabloids and athletics.

Summer sports teams:

  • volleyball,

Uniforms are provided for these teams.

Bellevue also offers Taekwon Do training session twice weekly before school.

Information Communication Technology

To prepare students for the future we incorporate e-learning through an integrated curriculum and using the tools students require for future learning. Classes are adopting many of the Web 2.0 tools, including Blogs and Wikis as a way of sharing and connecting with others.

Students also have the opportunity to work as our “Belle Views’ reporters, writing articles and taking photos which are published on the Belle Views blog.

Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC)

All classes are involved in a variety of EOTC activities each year. Those based outside the school environment require detailed information for parents, permission from parents/caregivers and appropriate RAMS reports as required by the school’s Risk Management Policy.

Senior Programme (Year 5 & 6) includes:

  • Auckland City visit (odd years)
  • Tui Ridge (Ngongotaha) bush camp stay (even years)
